As requested by your members, attached is our submission for the 2024 season heating range.
Can you please send this to your members to place forward orders now for next season.
Considerations
- Raw materials and component pricing continue to fluctuate, leading to instability in pricing from China.
- Logistics costs and lead times have increased effecting the whole supply chain.
- Although international freight has come down, local freight is continuing to increase.
- Fluctuating and ongoing risk around NZD/USD and USD/CNY FX
- CDB is a full category supplier that can take a margin mixed approach to sourcing next season.
- CDB reserves the right to amend FIS pricing should future increases be received after order placement.
We have seen continued growth in WiFi enabled products. For the last 6 years Goldair has been the market leader in the seasonal categories for Wifi and Smart Home integrated products.
We currently have more than 50 models across our Heating, Cooling and Multi Season categories that are WiFi and Smart Home enabled.
The upside is that the average sell price (ASP) is much higher on these smart products.
We believe the other opportunity is to invest more into the Multi Season products as they offer you the ability to sell a model for the whole year not just in season.
These include ceramic fan heaters that also have a fan function with multiple speeds such as the GPTF500 (which you already stock) and the new GPTF480.
Timelines are relatively short between now and when we need to place our orders for next season to ensure all stock arrives on time prior to the season starting, so can you have a look through the attached and let me know which models you feel suit your needs.
Ideally if you can confirm a range by 21 August 2023 it would be much appreciated.
